Cloud kitchen Outlet Buddy starts home delivery amid Covid-19 pandemic

With the hospitality industry hit hard by the pandemic, the industry is facing a nightmare. Even with the government applied unlocks, it is seen that the restaurant industry is still facing losses in sales and capital.

With consumer demand for home-delivered meals booming, venturing into the cloud kitchen business struck three friends, Charul Sehra, Inderdeep Singh and Loveneet Singh - the smart thing to do, and thus they launched Outlet Buddy.

Outlet Buddy is just like regular kitchens, the only difference is that it operates online making it much more convenient for their Merchants and other restaurant owners by giving them all, one single point of interaction to order food. Hence, Restaurants don’t need to shop from multiple vendors for Raw material and can simply order all their dishes from one window.

The franchise is based on the Foco Model (Franchise owned Company operated) where one needs to invest only once and start reaping benefits from day one. The investment is based on the kind/ number of brands the Merchant wishes to invest in.

This model is especially enticing for restaurants that are closed because of Covid, who have full-fledged kitchens and would like to run 3-4 brands collectively from that kitchen, (in some cases) including their own brands, hence Outlet buddy also reignites the brand presence. We

"We at Outlet Buddy, endeavor to make the life for Restaurant owners simpler by providing them completely cooked dishes, at the right temperature, so a dish simply should be warmed before it's stuffed or served to be savored by the client at long last," says  Loveneet Singh, founder of Outlet Buddy.

"When our Buddy Client orders from us we dispatch the affirmed request and focus on same-day delivery. We intend to be the Kitchen for all our Buddy Clients, so they can concentrate on selling and furthermore scaling to other locations, without worrying about the huge sums of capital involved for setting up a full-fledged kitchen every time," he added.
