'DVAR' multi-designer store launches in Mumbai

Mumbai, May 7 (IBNS): Entrepreneur Vijayta V Gandhi, along with co-partner Parth M Sanghavi, on Tuesday launched the luxury multi-designer store, 'DVAR', featuring the best of haute couture, bridal, ethnic and contemporary wear, here.

The launch event hosted at the store was attended by popular Bollywood personalities like Payal Rohatgi, Ragini Khanna; socialite Aarti Surendranath, Schauna Chauhan; actor Kunal Kapoor along with Naina Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan.

Excited about the launch, Vijayta G Gandhi, co-partner DVAR said, "DVAR as an Idea was to bring together designers who define luxury Indian couture, and to create a fashion experience so definitive personal and exclusive that the consumer will always find what need."

She added, "DVAR defines an idea of Luxury that is not necessarily expensive; but something that is unique, rare, precious and most importantly suits your style."

The essence of DVAR lies in the coming together of some of the most creative, renowned and celebrated names in the world of fashion. 

DVAR features artistic inspirations of Gauri-Nainika, Gopi Vaid, Arpita Mehta, Amit GT,  Aarti Vijuy Gupta, Anju Sant Kumar, Charu Parashar, Deepika Govind; DNA Jewels by Anup Shah, Dolly J, Manish Chotrani, Garema Nagpal, Jayanti Reddy, Ritti Khanna, Sangeeta Kilachand, Shivani Tijori, Siddhartha Tytler, Sonal Ko radia, Vidhi Kejriwal and  Zanaiya by Shouger.

The premium section of the store is curated by Ramola Bachchan; from the Antique Gate that has been sourced and revamped from the ruins of a palace near Old Delhi, to the interiors with creams & golds, everything at DVAR is ethnic in its existence and modern in its appeal.

DVAR also houses a beautiful bridal lounge that offers traditional lehengas, Indianised gowns and anarkallis to suit every shape, along with dazzling semi-precious jewellery and flamboyant clutches to befit every occasion.

It also stocks an in-house range of exclusive footwear specially crafted for Indian feet, keeping the comforts and styles of Indian women and the need to look chic and beautiful, courtesy Shoe - Couturist Vidhi Kejriwal.

According to Gandhi, every month DVAR will celebrate one Indian designer who has flavored seasons with their creations and made a name for themselves across the world.

Celebrated designer Amit GT, who has dressed Beauties like Carmen Electra, Eva Langoria and Sonakshi Sinha to name a few, will be the first ‘Designer of the month’ at DVAR all through the month of May, she infromed.
