Kolkata/IBNS: Take a look at what Fairfield by Marriott, the luxury property in Rajarhat, has lined up for Christmas and New Year before finalising your plans.

Vertex, the liquid restaurant, which offers fine views of the illuminated New Town skyline and the Biswa Bangla Gate, promises to put up a lively show with a fascinating Christmas Eve Party (on December 24) with high-energy beats from a live DJ.

On December 25, it is time for Christmas Grills at Vertex with live grilling and barbecued delicacies straight off the firewood, from 12.30 pm to 3.30 pm.

To welcome the New Year, the hotel has planned exciting celebrations for December 31.

Kava will be hosting a specially curated New Year’s Eve Dinner (7pm to 11pm) on December 31 where you may choose from live counters and an eclectic spread.

Meanwhile, a saxophonist will help you glide into the celebratory mood.

Same day, same time, the party at Mangrove, the hotel’s spacious banquet, will include food, mocktails, unlimited alcohol (at an added cost), all accompanied by lively renditions from a two-piece musical band.

Vertex, the liquid restaurant, on December 31 (7pm to 1am), will offer a special buffet, and to spice up the mood, there will also be live music.

Realizing that after a hectic year-end party, you may like to go for a relaxed repast on January 1, Kava will hold a New Year Brunch between noon and 3pm while Vertex will offer New Year Special Grills between 12.30 pm and 3.30pm.

If you are looking to spend the run up to the New Year or soon thereafter in a luxurious but quiet ambience, may be alone or with your immediate family or with a close group of friends, you may check out the staycation offers from Fairfield by Marriott Kolkata.

Until January 11, 2021, guests can book a stay at the hotel, which come with exciting offers such as select premium alcohol at MRP, three-course buffet dinner for two along with one round of wine, complimentary room upgrade, early check in and late checkout, complimentary breakfast, additional 15 percent discount on F&B, and free stay and dining for children up to 12 years (up to 2 kids per room).

However, do not forget that it is necessary to follow all pandemic preventive measures at all times, including distancing norms, because any lapse on our part can cause a surge in the spread of the COVID19 virus.
