The ‘Caring with Style’ fashion show acknowledges achievements of successful men and women for their selfless contribution to the society.

This initiative was a part of Pidilite’s commitment to support children suffering from blood cancer for the 9th year in succession.

The fashion show witnessed style icons, achievers and prominent figures, including Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor, yesteryear’s actor Sadhana Shivdasani, Vivek Oberoi, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Aditi Rao Hydari, Madhur Bhandarkar, Rashami Desai, Sakshi Tanwar, Terence Lewis, Rishma Pai, Neetu Chandra, Lucky Morani, Gauhar Khan, Rashmi Uday Singh, Vidya Malwade, Bhagyashree, Tara Sharma, Parizad Kolah Marshall amongst others from different walks of life, dressed in the creations of ace designers Vikram Phadnis and Shaina NC.

Fevicol noted that the event is known for its much glam and style quotient where the crème de la crème of society rub shoulders with each other to raise funds for this noble cause.

The event also saw performances by music composer Shankar Mahadevan with his son Sidharth, singers Neeti Mohan and Sukruti, Akruti, and Prakruti Kakkar.

Celebrity comedian Bharati Dubey left the audience laughing and rolling on the floor with her rib-tickling humour.

The grand finale marked a majestic aerial dance presented by leading choreographer Terence Lewis.

Commenting on 9th 'Caring with Style' fashion show, Shaina NC said, “The concept of ‘Caring With Style’ is ‘glamour with a purpose’ – bringing fashion and real people together.”

Shaina said, “Over the years we have received generous support from many Indian celebrities like Gauhar Khan, Sakshi Tanwar and for the first time in 40 years, Sadhana, yesteryear actress walked the ramp to support the cause.  We received an overwhelming response this year too, and sure of helping patients affected by this disease.”

Vikram Phadnis said, “I would say that I have had the good fortune to be associated with The Cancer Patients Association along with Shaina NC for the second time and I have been left overwhelmed at every such instance.”

Phadnis added, “ I am so delighted today to partner with Pidilite and Shaina NC to bring you this show which not only celebrates fashion but also is a cause to raise funds for those who are suffering from cancer.”

He said, “I would also like to thank Pidilite for their commitment to this cause over the years and giving me this wonderful opportunity. I do wish that this small effort of ours goes a long way in creating awareness on the cause.”

Y. K. Sapru, Founder Chairman - Cancer Patients Aid Association said, "The 'Caring With Style ' fund raising event held on May 11 at NSCI is one of the efforts to raise funds for the needy patients. The funds will be utilised to aid children with Leukaemia (as the prognosis is very good and we will be able to aid many more patients and save lives)."

Sapru added, “Last year the funds were utilized for fourteen children this year we are hopeful with generous support of everyone we would be able to help 35 to 55 patients. So please come forward to support the cause.”

Rakesh Malhotra, the Secretary, NSCI, Mumbai & Delhi said, “NSCI is honoured to be the venue partner of the Cancer Patients Aid Association event to support the noble cause of raising funds for the treatment of people suffering from cancer.
