Gillette Venus announces Deepika Padukone as the new face of the brand
As a youth icon and role model, Deepika will be seen inspiring women to unleash their extraordinary qualities that live within and explore their potential, resonating the Gillette Venus #UseYourAnd campaign. She will also be debunking age old myths around shaving and educating women to make informed choices regarding their skin care habits.
The brand believes that all women have “ANDs” and multiple talents, but they often are limited by one-dimensional labels. Gillette Venus campaign #UseYourAnd inspires girls and women to stand-up against these labels, thereby encouraging them to realize their dreams.
Speaking about her association with the brand, Deepika said, “I have always believed in looking within and embracing my “ANDs”. It is indeed an honor to be formally associated with an Iconic Brand like Gillette Venus.”
Adding to the announcement, Rajeev Sathyesh, Gillette India Brand Manager said, “We are delighted to have Deepika on board as the brand ambassador for Gillette Venus. Besides being the leading lady of the Indian film industry she is also an inspiration to women across age groups. Deepika perfectly captures the contemporary young Indian woman and her personality encapsulates the brand essence of how one can unleash their innate potential. At Gillette Venus we strongly believe that “ANDs” or dimensions of a woman are what make her extraordinary hence, as a brand, it is our constant endeavor to inspire women to confidently use their “ANDs” and achieve greater heights.”
Deepika will soon be seen communicating beauty conversations for Venus across the country in some wonderfully done campaigns. She joins the league of Gillette’s global international ambassadors.
