New Delhi, Dec 17 (IBNS): Harley-Davidson India Wednesday announced the opening of two new independent dealerships - Diamond City Harley-Davidson in Surat, Gujarat, and the second dealership for Tusker Harley-Davidson in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

The Surat dealership represents the brand’s second location in the state of Gujarat, with the first being Nine Bridges Harley-Davidson in Ahmedabad which opened in 2012. With this, there are now 17 authorized Harley-Davidson dealerships across India.

The launch of these dealerships stands testimony to the strategic expansion plans underway by Harley-Davidson in India as it completes five years in the country. The company will continue growing its dealer network and partnerships across the country in the coming year with a focus on expanding its presence in Tier I cities and foraying into newer Tier II cities.

Commenting on the launch, Anoop Prakash, Managing Director, Harley-Davidson India said, “Our dealer network in India has grown rapidly over the past five years, and has welcomed thousands of owners and enthusiasts across the country who seek to experience the Harley-Davidson lifestyle and culture. This year alone we’ve opened additional locations in Mumbai, Delhi-NCR and now Bengaluru along with the first dealership in Surat, our second facility in Gujarat. We wish to congratulate our dedicated dealer partners on their new, world-class facilities.”

Pranav Nanda, Dealer Principal, Diamond City Harley-Davidson added, “We are excited to bring Harley-Davidson to Surat, a city with a great leisure riding culture. The brand is renowned world-over for providing its customers with a premium lifestyle experience through a unique product offering and we wish to deliver the same level of excellence in Surat as well. The new dealership promises to provide greater accessibility to our customers in Gujarat as we grow and welcome more customers to the Harley-Davidson family.”

“Tusker Harley-Davidson was among the first 5 dealerships to be opened in the country. We are excited to further expand our presence in Bengaluru. The additional dealership promises to provide greater accessibility to our customers as we grow and welcome them into the Harley-Davidson family”, added Srinivas Reddy, Dealer Principal, Tusker Harley-Davidson.

The newest dealerships will offer the entire Harley-Davidson India line-up of 13 motorcycle models, starting from Rs. 4.3 lacs (ex-showroom, Delhi). Harley owners will also be able to choose from a wide range of Harley-Davidson parts and accessories to customize their bikes as well as motorclothes merchandise.
