Honda launches its new motorcycle CB Unicorn 160 in Kolkata
Kolkata, Feb 18 (IBNS): Re-igniting Kolkata's two-wheeler market, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) on Wednesday announced its aggressive 'Bigger, Better & Bolder' roadmap for FY'2015-16 and launched its brand new premium motorcycle CB Unicorn 160 at The Westin.
Shedding light on Honda’s game-plan for the crucial Indian market, Keita Muramatsu, President & CEO, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. said, “With India contribution reaching 25% of global Honda motorcycle sales this year; India is and will remain Honda’s priority market globally. However, I consider 50 lac units to be the turning point of Honda in India. In FY’2015-16, Honda is taking the next leap of business expansion. We will be BIGGER with new manufacturing capabilities and aggressively growing network in the hinterlands, BETTER at customer satisfaction and BOLDER with our introduction of ever highest 15 new models in just one year starting with the launch of new CB Unicorn 160 today.”
Elaborating on the new CB Unicorn 160, Vivek Taluja, Regional Head – East Sales, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. said, “With the new CB Unicorn 160, Honda is further strengthening its position in 150-180cc motorcycle segment. The new CB Unicorn 160 is a winning proposition for Kolkata youth who are looking for real value, without compromise on style, performance, advanced features, mileage and maximum riding comfort. The motorcycle is available for sale starting today at very attractive price starting INR 75,678 (Ex-showroom, Kolkata).”
At the heart of new CB Unicorn 160 is the latest 163cc Mid-Sized Advanced Honda engine that is powered by Honda Eco Technology (HET) resulting in the perfect mix of style, design and high fuel efficiency.
