Kolkata cafes and restaurants gearing up for Women’s Day

Kolkata/IBNS: A quick glance at exclusive offers from popular restaurants and cafes in Kolkata this Women’s Day (March 8, 2021).

Zobet: This Moroccan themed gastropub has not only laid out a special spread but also thrown in some delightful offers to make women this special day.  They are offering a complimentary glass of ‘Cosmopolitan’ or ‘Mojito’ to all women guests as well as a special discount of 20 per cent on the total bill for groups with minimum four women members. The menu offers some signatures like, ‘Cheese Naan Bomb’, ‘ Hummus Platter’, ‘Zobet Fish N Chips’, ‘Mutton Seekh Kebab Roll’, ‘We Salute Farmer’s Pizza’, and ‘Rum Flavour Hot Chocolate Mousse’ among others. Open noon to midnight. Meal for two: Rs 1,100 + tax without alcohol, and Rs 2,100 + tax with alcohol.

Royal China: Here too, groups with a minimum four women members are eligible for a special discount of 10 per cent. Menu highlights include ‘Crispy  Truffle  Edamame  Cheung  Fun’,  ‘Salt  and  Pepper Silken  Tofu’, ‘Seafood  Dumpling  with  Ginger  and  Chili  Oil’,  ‘Flaming  Chicken  in  Superior  Sauce’  and ‘Crispy Pan Fried Noodles’. Open for lunch and dinner. Meal for two: Rs 2,500 inclusive of tax.

La Macario Café: Focusing on the fun quotient, they are collaborating with Gamers Head for games and events for women to indulge in on their special day. Besides, they are offering a complimentary dessert to all women diners as well as a discount of 15 per cent on the total bill for all-girls table. Menu highlights include The Ultimate Chimichuri Avocado Toast, Zucchini Parmigiana, Baked Mexican Corn Cheese Dip with Nachos, Spinach Formaggi Pizza, Mezze Platter and Chocolate Mudpie. Events will be held between one pm and four pm. Meal for two: Rs 900 + tax.

Moti Mahal Delux: Women guests will be welcomed with a complimentary mocktail. Menu highlights include ‘Stuffed Aloo Tikka’, ‘Paneer Tikka Shashlik’, ‘Tandoori Chicken’, ‘Butter Chicken’ and ‘Dal Makhani’, ‘Matka Kulfi’ and ‘Phirni. Open between noon and 11pm. Meal for two: Rs.1,400 + tax.

Yauatcha: Here's a peek into the menu highlights -- a set course starting with a steaming pot of fragrant Jasmine Green Tea, followed by Hot and Sour soup with shiitake mushroom or shredded chicken, dim sums, stir fries accompanied with
steamed jasmine rice, to name a few. You can follow up with desserts such as Chocolate pebble, Chocolate raspberry delice and the Chocolate hazelnut mousse. Open noon to 7pm. Meal for two: Rs 988 + tax for vegetarian and Rs 1088  tax for regular.

Laa Mozarellla: This New Town based cafe is offering its women guests free mocktails and 15 per cent discount (till 11pm). Menu highlights include ‘Spinach Lasagne’, ‘Smoked chicken salad with Apple cream sauce’ ‘Quirky Quesadilla’ ‘Spicy Nachos’, ‘Butter Fried Prawn, and ‘Cheesy Olivet’ to name a few along with an array of desserts. Open 11am to 11pm. Meal for two: Rs.IMFL at 999 AI.
