Kolkata hosts digital photo art exhibition

Kolkata, Apr 28 (IBNS): The Consul General of Italy Cesare Bieller, along with artist Robin Mondal, recently inaugurated the 'Lenskolazart', a two-week digital photo art exhibition by poet Nilacharya, the pen name of Sunil Koomar Bhattacherjee, here.

'Lenskolazart' created by poet Nilacharya, reflected the mood and instinct of the poet while capriciously playing with photographs and Photoshop.

The final compositions were sublime, surreal and aesthetic.

Sunil Koomar Bhattacherjee, a Mine Survey Engineer with Post Graduation (Advanced Diploma in Mine Surveying) from Indian School Of Mines, Dhanbad was awarded with a Duplom - Paper of Honour by the Govt Of Poland in 1977.

He is presently a poet-writer, who has composed few music from his own poems.

Photography has been his hobby from boyhood which prompted him to start the digital creative photo collage art by using Photoshop software.

In the course of making collage, he created a unique composition by using number of photographs and converting them to a new art.

The poetic dream and desire in search of another medium to express his mood and creative instinct were delighted and reflected. And thus 'Lenskolazart' was born.

As of now, he has six albums of 'Lenskolazart' - 53 pieces each, ready for art lovers which can be reproduced on canvas or photo paper on demand.

Bhattacherjee, said, "Lenskolazart is dedicated to the art lovers of the day and days to come."
