Kreative Minds encourages students to create art from discarded material

Bengaluru/IBNS: Kreative Minds, a Bengaluru-based organisation offering courses in art, design, craft and music, decided to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on his birthday (October 2) a little differently.

They encouraged the young students to handcraft objects made from discarded material lying around the house, such as toothpicks, cotton, ice-cream sticks, paper, thread, buttons, old paint, etc.

Said Amrita Tiwary, founder Kreative Minds, “This is a festival month and we are doing lots of activities and our institute always gives a chance to every student to showcase their talent.”

The students also made art objects to celebrate the Navratri festival.
