National Vigilance Awareness Week at Sail Central Marketing Organisation offices across the country

Kolkata/IBNS: The Vigilance Awareness Week (VAW) being observed by SAIL’s Central Marketing Organisation (CMO) at its headquarters in Kolkata and all other offices spread across the country will conclude on November 2, 2019.

The programme, which began on October 28, was themed on 'Integrity – A Way of Life,  in keeping with the guidelines issued by Central Vigilance Commission (CVC).

Following taking of the Vigilance Pledge on the inaugural day, online quiz and slogan writing competition among employees, guest lectures on relevant/contemporary topics, customer meet, workshop with stakeholders like customers and vendors, essay writing/debate/poster drawing competitions among school and college students, and other activities involving women were during the week.

Prizes will be awarded to winners of the various contests at the closing ceremony.

Vigilance Awareness Week is observed every year in all central government departments and CPSEs as per the general guidelines issued by the CVC.
