Pamela Pal Das emerges winner of Mrs. World United Nations 2022, the first woman to bag title from eastern India
Kolkata/IBNS: The 10th Anniversary Edition of United Nations (MUNPORG) Pageants LLC, a prestigious international event was held recently in New Delhi and Pamela Pal Das has won the prestigious title of Mrs. World United Nations 2022 this year.
The final rounds for the same took place between May 5th to 8th, 2022.
The eminent guests who were present during the event were Journalist Dr. Sanjeev Dev Malik, International pageantry jury Member Siddesh Jadhav, Physiotherapist Dr. Garima Anandani, Urbanista CEO Anders Andreen, Founder and Director of WIGP Neelshwari Basak, High Commissioners of Jamaica, Ghana and Nigeria.
Mrs. Pamela will be representing India on International platforms as well throughout the year. The winner was crowned by Mrs. Goodwill Ambassador in 2017 and by Miss United Nations in 2019.
The pageant’s principal objective is to identify and showcase the world’s best tourism or cause ambassadors; those who have the skills, talents and personalities best suited to promote their respective countries in furtherance of tourism, international goodwill and cultural harmony.
Apart from a strong emphasis on goodwill or tourism protection programs and destinations promotion, The United Nations Pageant is also aimed to support environmental protection via strategized programs.
From a total of 25 countries, 80 contestants participated to win the crown. A top 12 participants were chosen for the preliminary round and then the top five finalists were selected for both categories.
Pamela has emerged victorious crossing all the hurdles in various rounds and defeating her fellow participants.
Brimming with joy, Mrs. World United Nations 2022 commented "The prestigious international event has brought together representatives of a wide range of communities and cultures from all over the Globe.
