Radio Michi celebrates 50th anniversary of introduction of Feluda

Kolkata, Aug 1 (IBNS): This year happens to be the 50th anniversary of the introduction Feluda – the master creation of writer-director Satyajit Ray, one of the finest and most popular detectives in fiction.

It is common knowledge that Feluda stories are all time bestsellers and 8 of them are also adapted to landmark films in Bangla.

The first two “Sonar Kella” and “Joy Baba Felunath” directed by the master himself are undoubtedly two classics of all time.

Radio station Radio Mirchi  is celebrating “Mirchi Feluda 50” with a double bonanza both on radio and also on celluloid.

Mirchi's show “Sunday Suspense” is celebrating with 8 Feluda stories on air together with the screening of 7 Feluda movies at Priya Cinema in Kolkata from July 31 to Aug 6  on the evening show.

“We are quite excited to present the Mirchi Feluda 50 … the biggest ever Feluda festival ever. For us audience is the KING … and this we found to be the biggest occasion to honor them with a true blue Mirchi experience,” said Madhuri Bhosale, Senior Vice-President and Cluster Head East.
