Tea Trails opens its 10th outlet in Mumbai's Kala Ghoda
Mumbai, Feb 11 (IBNS): Tea Trails, a tea cafe chain in the country, on Thursday launched its first cafe in Mumbai's Kala Ghoda locality taking its total number of outlets at 10.
Zone8 Tea World Pvt Ltd that runs Tea Trails brand cafes in the country aims to be present pan India in coming period.
Kala Ghoda outlet is the latest café opened by the company.
Last month, the company forayed in South India with its first café in Hyderabad’s Banjara Hills. That also marked the brand’s first outlet outside the Mumbai metro region.
Kala Ghoda café is the first outlet of the company in South Mumbai.
“Tea is the brew of choice for art lovers. With the launch of Kala Ghoda cafe, total number of outlets operated under Tea Trails brand has now reached in double digit i.e. at 10, which is a milestone for us,” said Uday Mathur, co-founder Tea Trails.
“We serve around 80 offerings of teas from hot to cold, whites, greens, oolongs and blacks, handpicked from the best tea gardens of India and around the globe. We also serve a vast range of tea infused food and hope people will enjoy our curated cuisine,” he added.
This outlet is in lounge format as against a café format that company opened last month in Hyderabad. At present, there are 8 outlets in Mumbai region and Hyderabad was 9th. Some more outlets are slated to be launched in coming weeks that includes Chennai and Delhi NCR.
“India is the second largest tea consuming market in the world and there is lack of organized tea café operators in our country. Tea Trails aspires to cater to this latent demand and be the category creator with vast franchisee network,” Mathur said.
“Large part of our expansion strategy is based on franchise network development. This model is asset light with high ROI,” he added.
