"The ability to share status updates finally extends to WhatsApp Web, allowing users to share photos, videos, and text directly to Status from the web client," read the WaBetaInfo website which tracks Whatsapp and its developments.

"This integration is currently available to some beta testers who previously joined the official beta program of the web client," the website further said.

Who can use it now?

The website said the feature is currently available to some beta testers when they are using the latest version of WhatsApp Web.

The feature will be rolled out to more users in the upcoming weeks.

The compatibility is available with WhatsApp Web beta 2.2353.59 update.
