Vedaa Contemporary Weaves opens store in Juhu
After existing for over a decade and building our clientele amongst the real women of India and the who’s who of Mumbai, Vedaa's celeb studded store launch saw the likes of
Bollywood current heart throb, actress Sara Loren, Jaya Laxmikanth (wife of singer Laxmikanth of the Laxmikanth Pyarelal duo) and award winning weaver Ghanshyam Das Bode who inaugurated the store and unveiled the look-book and saree showcase of Vedaa's new bridal collection.

Actress Sara Loren wore a beautiful Yellow Organza Kanjivaram from the Vedaaa collection at the launch, along with other women of stature who are current Vedaa aficionados.
Rooted and defined, Vedaa stands for the ‘Nari’ in her foremost elegance – almost as if the wearer has found a method to worship her own form and its rhythm.
Traditional techniques of weaving are revived and curated to create woven textures in sarees , suit coodinates and dupattas.
Vedaa has in its collection contemporary weaves like ikkat kanchi, kota doria kanchi, linen warp kanchi, tissue zari by zari kanchi, kora kanchi and much more.
Vedaa also showcases forgotten mina butis of benares, balucheris and benarasi dupattas. In addition it has cotton and silk paithanis, patan patolas, uppadas, ikkats and ahimsa silk by ereena.
