Number of Israeli residents injured as result of escalation up to 2,382

The number of Israeli residents hospitalized as a result of the escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict has increased to 2,382, The Times of Israel newspaper reported on Monday, citing the latest data by the Health Ministry.

Earlier reports indicated that 2,315 people were injured as a result of the conflict's escalation, while over 700 were killed.

1,23,000 Palestinians flee their homes in Gaza due to armed conflict

More than 1,23,000 Palestinians have been forced to flee their homes in the Gaza Strip as the Palestinian-Israeli conflict escalates, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said on Sunday.

"As of 21:00, 123,538 Palestinians had been displaced in Gaza," the OCHA said in a statement.

US moves carrier strike group to eastern Mediterranean

The United States has begun moving USS Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group to the Eastern Mediterranean.

This includes the U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN-78), the Ticonderoga-class guided missile cruiser USS Normandy (CG 60), as well as the Arleigh-Burke-class guided missile destroyers USS Thomas Hudner (DDG 116), USS Ramage (DDG 61), USS Carney (DDG 64), and USS Roosevelt (DDG 80).

Death toll crosses 1,000 as Israel-Hamas conflict continues

More than 1,000 people have died in Israel and Palestine since the Hamas group members launched an attack against Israel on Saturday.

"More than 700 people have been killed in Israel, while more than 400 Palestinians have been killed, according to authorities. Some 2,300 others have been wounded in Gaza, with power cuts threatening "lives of hundreds of injuries and patients,"  the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza was quoted as saying by CNN.

Israel has declared war on Hamas and initiated airstrikes in response to this fierce attack.

The Israel Defense Forces told CNN that  Israel has "severely degraded the capabilities" of the Palestinian militant group Hamas as airstrikes on Gaza continued into early Monday.

Israel Defense Forces said 2150 people have been injured in the attack so far.

Israeli security forces secure control of Sderot police station : CNN

Israel’s southern district police forces and soldiers from the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on Sunday secured control of Sderot police station, according to a southern district police spokesperson, quoted CNN.

“Starting in the morning, the southern district police forces and IDF soldiers are working to neutralize terrorists who infiltrated the Sderot station,” the police spokesperson said. “A short time ago, full control was achieved.”

CNN reports: About 10 armed “terrorists” were “neutralized,” after the forces were ordered to carry out live fire “by all means” on the station where “the terrorists were entrenched,” the spokesperson said.
