TRS set to form government in Telangana

Hyderabad, May 16 (IBNS): Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) led by K Chandrasekhar Rao is all set to form the first government in the 29th state of India, Telangana, with his party heading towards absolute majority in the Assembly polls.

According to last reports, TRS won 63 assembly seats, followed by 
Congress with 22 seats.

While the BJP-TDP alliance managed 21 seats, MIM bagged six seats.

The state is set to get a 119-member assembly.

In Andhra Pradesh, the Telegu Desum Party (TDP) is leading with 105 seats.

It is followed by YSRC with 68 assembly seats.

In Odisha, the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) is leading with 115 seats.

While the Congress bagged 18 seats, the BJP managed 10 seats.

In Arunachal Pradesh, the Congress party is leading with 43 seats with followed BJP with 10.

In Sikkim, the SDF is leading with 22 seats.
