New Delhi, Apr 6 (IBNS): The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Sunday expelled its founding member Ashwini Upadhyay from the party over his repeated involvement in the anti-party activities.
The party also accused him of failing to respond to the show cause notice served to him.

"The Aam Aadmi Party has expelled Mr Ashwini Upadhyay due to his repeated involvement in the anti-party activities and his failure to respond to the show cause notice served to him," the party posted on its official website.

Upadhyay had turned rebel after he was denied ticket for the Lok Sabha. He even called Arvind Kejriwal an agent of CIA.

He had also protested outside party chief Arvind Kejriwal's residence alleging lack of transparency in ticket distribution in the party.
