Rahul will start his roadshow from Gol Gadda Chauraha.

The same day, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav too will campaign for Samajwadi Party (SP) candidate Kailash Prasad Chaurasia in Varanasi.

"We will win from Varanasi. The people have seen our hard work and have full faith in us," said Yadav.

Pertinently, Varanasi is one of the most keenly watched seats in the ninth phase of the 2014 Lok Sabha elections where the main contest is among  BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal and Congress' Ajay Rai.

Earlier, Modi and Kejriwal held rallies in the city to show their strength.

Saturday is the last day of campaigning in Varanasi before the polls on May 12.
