S Jaishankar meets Foreign Secretary David Lammy, appreciates steady momentum in India-UK Comprehensive Strategic Partnership

Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Monday met UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy in Italy when he appreciated the momentum in the bilateral Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

Jaishankar said he discussed ways to deepen cooperation in technology, green energy, trade and mobility sectors.

"Appreciate the steady momentum in India UK Comprehensive Strategic Partnership," Jaishankar posted on X.

"Discussed deepening cooperation in technology, green energy, trade, mobility, as well as ongoing developments in Indo-Pacific and West Asia," he said.

Jaishankar is visiting Italy to attend the Outreach session of the G7 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Fiuggi as a guest country.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the event.

Jaishankar will be visiting Italy from November 24 to 26.

During the visit, EAM will also participate in the 10th edition of the MED Mediterranean Dialogue in Rome, being organised by Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI) in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy.
