Five MBBS students die after their car collides with state-run bus in Kerala

Five MBBS students died after their car collided with a state-run bus in Kerala's Alapuzzha district on Monday.

The deceased were identified as Devananthan (19), Kottakkal in Malappuram; Sreedev Valson (19), Sekharipuram in Palakkad; Ayush Shaji (19), Chennadu in Kottayam; PP Mohammed Ibrahim (19), Androth in Lakshadweep; and Mohammed Abdul Jabbar (19), Pandyala in Kannur, reported UNI news agency.

According to reports, seven people were present inside the car at the time of the incident. Two people were hurt in the mishap.

Three students, who were travelling in the car, died on the spot.

The injured people were rushed to the TD Medical College hospital for treatment.

Locals rushed to the spot and rescued the injured from the car.
