On facebook Robert Vadra attacks BJP for diversion tactics
"Parliament begins and so do their petty diversion political tactics... People of India are not fooled. Regret to see India Led by such so called leaders !!" Vadra posted on Facebook.
Vadra has been in centre of a controversy over land deals that the BJP wants to direct against the Congress in its fight with the opposition party.
The BJP has been alleging that Vadra made windfall gains for his company through the land deals.
The latest BJP attack came from Prime Minister Narendra Modi who made remarks on "political damaads(son-in-laws)" in an obvious hint at Vadra while speaking at a programme in Jammu.
"There are some sons in law who do not bask in their in-laws' glory. But today, we all know how political damads (sons in law) can be," he had said.
His remark came at a time when the Congress put its foot down for the resignation of External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje for helping disgraced cricket tycoon Lalit Modi. They also wan removal of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for the Vyapam scandal.
