Mumbai, Aug 28 (IBNS) Indrani Mukerjea's ex-husband Sanjeev Khanna strangled Sheena Bora in a car on April 24, 2012, Indrani's driver has allegedly told the police as details of the chilling, grisly crime have started emerging.

Khanna, who was arrested in Kolkata, will be interrogated by the Mumbai Police on Friday. He  claimed that he was asleep in the car when Sheena Bora was killed.

Sheena's body was dumped in a forest area of Raigad, about 85 km off Mumbai. Her face was smashed and the body was burned.
The police have alleged that the driver, Indrani Mukerjea and  Khanna had a day earlier recced the spot where Sheena Bora's body was dumped.

The Mumbai Police have said an anonymous phone call alerted them to the fact that Sheena Bora had been killed allegedly by Indrani Mukerjea,  co-founder of media group INX and wife of TV baron Peter Mukerjea.

Till she was arrested, Indrani, had claimed that Sheena, whom she used to present as her sister,  had moved to the US for studies.
Sheena dating  Rahul Mukerjea, Peter Mukerjea's son from a previous marriage, which Indrani was strongly opposed to.
