Mumbai Police seize laptops of Sanjeev Khanna

Kolkata, Sept 2 (IBNS): A team of Mumbai Police on Wednesday seized two laptops and few bank documents of Sanjeev Khanna, the first husband of ex-Star India Chief Peter Mukerjea's wife and Sheena Bora murder accused Indrani Mukerjea, from his friend Ajay Rawla's residence in Alipore area of Kolkata, sources said.

A Mumbai Police's team reached Kolkata on Wednesday morning and approached the Kolkata Police for help to seize the laptops for further investigation.

After conducting a raid at Ajay Rawla's residence, from where Sanjeev was arrested, police seized two laptops and few bank documents.

One police officer of Mumbai Police told IBNS, "We have come to know that Sanjeev Khanna and Indrani Mukerjea used to chat through the laptops. So, we are seizing these for further investigation in Sheena Bora murder case."

Sanjeev Khanna was arrested from his friend's residence in Kolkata on Aug 26 in connection with the Sheena Bora murder case and he is in police custody.

According to reports, Mumbai police officers are now grilling Indrani, Sanjeev and Indrani's driver Shyam Rai jointly at Khar Police Station in Maharashtra.
