Mumbai, Sep 3 (IBNS) Indrani Mukherjea, the prime accused in the murder of her daughter Sheena Bora, has been interrogated together with husband Peter Mukherjee as police continue to solve the riddles in the most bizarre crime that has many loose ends and unanswered questions, reports said.

Earlier, Mumbai police recorded the statement of Peter Mukherjee, former CEO of Star India, who had also co-founded INX broadcasting group with Indrani.

Peter Mukherjea was grilled for a total of 12 hours with same sets of questions being given to him and his wife.

The replies of both will be matched ..

Peter Mukherjea   was in the UK when Sheena  was strangled in a hired car allegedly  by her mother, driver and step father Sanjeev Khanna.

The corpse was kept overnight in Mukerjea's garage before it was taken to a forest area and set on fire.

On Wednesday, police also searched Mukherjeas' Worli residence and their garage.

Sheena was Indrani's daughter from a previous relationship. She was having an affair with her step brother Rahul Mukherjea, Peter's son from his previous marriage.
