Mumbai cops caught on camera beating up a woman during Ganesh festival

Mumbai, Sept 28 (IBNS) Triggering a controversy, female police constables were caught on camera slapping a women at a pandal in Mumbai during the Ganesh Chaturthi festival, media reports said.

The incident reportedly occurred on Friday and the video has gone viral on social media.

According to reports, an enquiry has been ordered into the incident.

“An assistant commissioner of police rank officer is probing the incident which occurred on Friday night. Investigation is on pertaining to the exact reason,” a police officer was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times.
