President greets people of Oman on eve of their National Day

New Delhi, Nov 17 (IBNS) President Pranab Mukherjee on Tuesday extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and people of the Sultanate of Oman on the eve of their National Day.

In his message to the Sultan of Oman, Qaboos Bin Said Al Said,  the President said “On behalf of the Government, the people of India and on my own behalf, it is my pleasure to extend warm greetings and felicitations to Your Majesty and to the people of the Sultanate of Oman on the occasion of your National Day. "

"India deeply values its close and friendly relations with the Sultanate of Oman which is anchored in shared interests and extensive people-to-people contacts. Our mutually beneficial ties are marked by exceptional warmth and goodwill. I firmly believe that our bilateral cooperation will further deepen and strengthen in the years ahead for the mutual benefit of our two peoples."

"I take this opportunity to convey to Your Majesty my best wishes for your personal good health and well-being, and for the progress and prosperity of the friendly people of the Sultanate of Oman," he said.
