Family refuses to stand during national anthem, forced to leave theatre

New Delhi, Nov 30 (IBNS) A video about a family being forced to leave a theatre for refusing to stand during the national anthem is the latest thing to hit the internet, attracting a large number of comments and shares on social platforms.

The video posted by an YouTube user on Nov 29, shows a group of angry people dishing out a string of expletives to the family for failing to stand during the national anthem. The setting clearly reveals it is a movie hall, thought it is unclear as to which part of the country it took place in.

The family was made to leave the theatre after a verbal barrage that lasted about 2 minutes. The man, who tried providing justification that he could barely stand was played down by the others who demanded his leave right from the onset and was met with an applause when the family, a group of 5 people, decided to quit the place.
