Mumbai: Man shoots at pub manager; gets arrested

Mumbai, May 30 (IBNS) The Mumbai Police on Friday said they have arrested a man for allegedly firing at a pub manager in Amboli area of the city.

According to the police, the accused, Vikram Kumar, was allegedly harassing a female customer at Escape pub when manager Jitendra Kumar Jha intervened and asked him to apologise to the woman.

A heated argument followed the incident and in a fit of rage, Kumar shot Jha with his licensed revolver, injuring the latter on his foot.

Later Jha lodged a police complaint after which Kumar was arrested.
