PM Modi alerted by Intelligence over possible L-e-T attack
New Delhi, Dec 30 (IBNS) The Intelligence bureau has alerted Prime Minister Narendra Modi over a possible terror attack by the Lashkar-e-Taiba on New Year's Day, according to reports.
Acting on the tip-off, the Centre has urged all the states to keep a strict vigil on anything abnormal and has asked the metros to be extra alert.
Possible targets other than the PM can be several official buildings and tourist destinations, according to the Intelligence.
According to reports, 20 L-e-T infiltrators have crossed the borders to cause mayhem in India during the New Year.
