JNU row: Delhi Police's Special Cell to probe case
New Delhi, Feb 14 (IBNS): Delhi Police's Special Cell might be taking over the investigation in the case involving the programme on Afzal Guru at the Jawaharlal Nehru University, media reports said.
This comes after the local police have formally sought that the case be transferred.
According to the local police, the is a matter of sedition and terror links could emerge.
The Delhi Government has already ordered an inquiry into the case.
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal tweeted: "There are claims that JNU student leaders shouted anti-India slogans and counter claims that ABVP activists did it... To find truth, Del govt is directing DM to conduct an enquiry."
