Mumbai, Feb 16 (IBNS): The Central Bureau of Investigation on Tuesday filed a supplementary chargesheet against former media baron Peter Mukerjea in connection with the Sheena Bora murder case.

The chargesheet  was filed before  Additional Metropolitan Magistrate R.V. Adone.

Mukherjea was arrested last year in connection with the  Sheena Bora murder case.

Mukerjea's wife Indrani was arrested in August last year, days after the remains of Sheena Bora - her daughter - were found in the Raigad forest 80 km from Mumbai.

Sheena was strangled in 2012 allegedly by Indrani Mukerjea, her ex-husband Sanjeev Khanna and driver Shyam Rai.

Khanna and Rai are also under arrest.

Peter Mukerjea was arrested later after Indrani Mukerjea's conflicting statements reportedly led the CBI to believe that he was aware of the plot to kill his step-daughter.
