West Bengal: ISIS suspect held in Burdwan

Kolkata, Feb 26 (IBNS): A suspected ISIS linkman has been detained on Friday from Burdwan district of West Bengal, reports said.

According to reports, a team of National Investigation Agency (NIA) has nabbed ISIS suspect Asif Ahmed, who is a resident of West Bengal's Nadia district and student of a private polytechnic college in Burdwan district.

However, according to NIA sources, the detained suspect is being interrogated and likely to be arrested after the establishment of his connection with militant group ISIS.
