At least 150 al-Shabab militants dead as US air raids Somalia

Mogadishu, Mar 8 (IBNS) At least 150 al-Shabab militants have been killed in a recent air raid conducted by the US in Somalia, according to reports.

Spokesperson Captain Jeff Davis was quoted in the media as saying, "We know they were going to be departing the camp and they posed an imminent threat to US and [African Union] forces."

"Initial assessments are that more than 150 terrorist fighters were eliminated," he said.
