BS Yeddyurappa appointed as BJP's Karnataka unit chief

New Delhi, Apr 8 (IBNS): The BJP on Friday appointed BS Yeddyurappa as the new chief of the party's Karnataka unit.

The party appointed Keshav Prasad Maurya as the president of the Uttar Pradesh unit.

Yeddyurappa, who is the  Memebr of Parliament (MP) from Shivamogga Parliamentary  constituency, had earlier served as the CM of Karnataka.

K. Lakshman   has been named as the chief of Telangana.

Vijay Sampla has been named the Punjab unit president. He is currently serving as the Minister of state for social justice and empowerments.
