Bengal polls: Modi attacks Mamata government over Saradha, Narada , syndicate issues
Attacking the TMC over Saradha scam and Narada News sting operation issues, Narendra Modi said, "West Bengal's land is being used as a bomb factory. Saradha chit fund company cheated the money of many poor people. We all are aware of TMC leaders' involvement in Saradha and other chit fund scams."
"Whole country witnessed in TV that famous TMC leaders taking cash as bribe. In front of camera, they were dealing openly to sell Bengal's future. If oppositions' leaders sting footage were released, then would you not circulate those Mamata Didi? Would you not order probe into it? Then why are you are silent Didi? Is this a 'Parivartan' (change)!" he added.
"No new industry has been established here and there is no employment in Bengal as well. We find syndicate culture everywhere in the state. Recent Vivekananda Flyover collapse incident in Kolkata was an outcome of syndicate culture," Modi said, attacking the West Bengal government.
Meanwhile, hitting out the alliance between CPI-M and Congress, Narendra Modi said, "Leftists and Congress are fighting with each other in Kerala and making friendship in Bengal. Don't try to make Bengal's people fool."
Speaking on Election Commission of India (ECI)'s show cause notice to WB chief minister Mamata Banerjee, Prime Minister Modi said, "Election Commission issued show cause notice to Mamata Banerjee. They why chief secretary of this state sent its reply! Didi, don't misuse your powers. Leader like Indira Gandhi was defeated for misusing her administration."
Seeking votes from Bengal's people, Modi said, "I have a three-point agenda- Development, development at a fast pace and development from all sides. If we are elected to power here, we will make a huge development here. You can see our developments in the Centre and in those states, where BJP is ruling."
"Since independence, Congress did nothing for this country. Leftists made no development in West Bengal in past years. People elected Mamata here for a change. But after coming to power Mamata has changed herself," he added.
