Mumbai: A Mumbai court is likely to pass an order on Saturday on cases filed by the Airport Authority of India (AAI) against business tycoon Vijay Mallya.

The AAI has filed two cheque bouncing cases against Mallya's Kingfisher Airlines in the court.

It has also sought cancellation of permanent exemption granted to Mallya, and warrant of arrest against him.

Kingfisher Airlines owes nearly Rs 300 crore to the AAI which has sought an arrest warrant against the liquor baron.

In a press statement the AAI said, "In view of the cancellation of passport of Dr. Vijay Mallya, the condition of appearance through advocate does not survive. The two applications filed sought cancellation of permanent exemption granted to Mallya, seeking warrant of arrest."
