India's copper production registers 30 percent growth: Minister
New Delhi, May 18 (IBNS) Union Steel and Mines Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, on Wednesday, reported a 30 percent growth in copper production in India.
Copper production registers 30 % growth in production to contribute to #TransformingIndia," Tomar tweeted.
Copper produced during April-March 2014-15 was 1,07,541 tonnes, as compared to 1,40.180 tonnes produced in the recently concluded financial year, April-March 2015-16.
