New Delhi, May 25 (IBNS) President of India, Pranab Mukherjee, extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and people of the Argentine Republic on the occasion of their National Day (May 25, 2016).

In a message to His Excellency Ing. Mauricio Macri, the President of the Argentine Republic, President Mukherjee said, “The traditionally close ties between India and Argentina have further strengthened and diversified in recent years. High level exchanges – such as your interaction with Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi in Washington recently and the visit of the Secretary of Foreign Relations of Argentina to India last year have invigorated our bilateral engagement and increased the scope and prospects of our cooperation in a variety of areas of common interest. I am confident that our relations will assume greater depth and content in the coming years.

I take this opportunity to extend my best wishes for your good health and well-being and for the progress and prosperity of the people of Argentina”.
