Doctor held for allegedly raping his patient in Kolkata nursing-home

Kolkata, May 28 (IBNS): Police on Friday night booked a doctor for allegedly raping his patient in a privately-run hospital in Kolkata, reports said.

According to reports, a 24-year-old woman took admission in a nursing-home, with a problem in her eyes, on May 26.

The woman claimed that a doctor raped her, while he was checking her. She lodged an FIR against the doctor in Beniapukur Police Station on Friday.

Later at night, police arrested the accused doctor- Syed Haydar Warsi. He is likely to be produced to a local court on Saturday.
