President of India’s message on the Eve of National Day of Portugal

New Delhi, Jun 9 (IBNS) President of India, Pranab Mukherjee has extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and people of Portugal on the eve of their National Day (June 10, 2016).
In a message to Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, the President of the Portuguese Republic, the Indian President said, "India and Portugal share warm, friendly and historical ties. India deeply values its partnership with Portugal and remains committed to further expanding and strengthening it. I am confident that we can work together towards an enhanced India-Portugal partnership that deepens the political, economic and cultural ties between our two countries to the mutual benefit of our two peoples. 
 
Please accept, Excellency, my best wishes for your good health and personal well being as well as for the progress and prosperity of the friendly people of Portugal”.
