MHA team to visit J&K

New Delhi, June 26 (IBNS) In the wake of recent attack on CAPF convoy, the Ministry of Home affairs will be sending a team to Jammu and Kashmir this week, officials said.

The team will comprise of Secretary (Boarder Management), Susheel Kumar and Special Secretary, (Internal Security),  Mahesh Kumar Singla accompanied by Joint Secretary (Kashmir), Gyanesh Kumar.

The team will look into the issues of possible increase in cross boarder infiltration, and the practices and procedures being followed by the CAPF during movement of their convoys.

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh has directed that the team should submit its report at the earliest.

The Union Home Minister has set up the team owing to his deep concern for the loss of life of brave CAPF Personnel, read an official statement.

The team would be leaving for Jammu and Kashmir by Tuesday.
