Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu flags off new MEMU Train

New Delhi, June 27 (IBNS): Minister of Railways Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu in a programme held on Monday at Rail Bhawan flagged off and dedicated new trains service viz. Patna-Ara MEMU (63213/63124) to the nation through video-conferencing.

Minister of State for Railways Manoj Sinha was also present to grace the occasion.  Chairman Railway Board A.K. Mital, Member Traffic Railway Board Mohd. Jamshed and other Board Members were among those present on the occasion. Various several other dignitaries were also present on both ends.

Speaking on the occasion, Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu said,"People living in populous States of Bihar, UP, Jharkhand and West Bengal use rail transport in a big way. Thus, the Railways is focusing to improve train frequency and new train services in this region. And today’s flag-off is a step in this direction."
