New Delhi, Aug 10 (IBNS): Investigators on Wednesday revealed that terrorist Bahadur Ali, who was arrested after he infiltrated in India to carry on subversive activities, was trained by the Lashkar e Taiba outfit and Pakistani forces, reports said.

The National Investigation Agency personnel, who have apprehended the terrorist Bahadur Ali, said he had infiltrated in India from Pakistan in June this year.

NIA Inspector General Sanjeev Kumar said on Wednesday that Bahadur Ali, who hails from Lahore, was arrested in north Kashmir on July 25.

A communication device and a cache of arms were recovered from him.

In an eight-minute video of his confession, played by the probe agency during a press meet, Ali is heard saying: "I was asked to throw grenades during a protest but I couldn't."

Ali was directed to take advantage of the current situation in Kashmir. He also disclosed LeT's plan of a terror attack, the IG said.

He was reportedly asked to mingle with crowds and was trained to carry out large scale attacks.

Ali reportedly confessed to have undergone training at LeT camps.

He told NIA officials that there were 30-50 trainees  different countries, including Afghanistan, Pakistan.
