Mobileservice resumes in violence-hit Kashmir Valley

However, outgoing facility for prepaid users are still banned.
The Kashmir Valley witnessed network suspension after the killing of top Hizbul Mujahideen Commander Burhan Wani along with three associates in Bamdoora Kokernag of Anantnag district on July 8.
On precautionary measures, authorities suspended all mobile networks, including internet service in the Valley, to curb rumour – mongering
since July 8.
Meanwhile, curfew remained in force on 43rd day across the Kashmir Valley in all ten districts.
Large number of security personnel have been deployed in major towns to thwart protest rallies called by Kashmir separatist groups.
The separatist camp, headed by Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Mohammad Yasin Malik, has extended the agitation till Aug 25.
