New Delhi, Aug 26 (IBNS): As audio tapes of his conversation with son Rahul and wife Indrani started making rounds in the media platforms, ex-CEO of Star India Peter Mukerjea said he did not have idea that his son was recording the conversations.

"I did not know about the recordings when Rahul was recording it. But he is my son, he stays with me. So, during the three months that we had after Indrani got arrested and before I got arrested, he told me about these recordings. If I had a guilty mind, I wouldn't have helped him make the transcripts, we did that together," Peter told India Today TV.

Rahul has shared  20 tapes of the conversation with the national probe agency Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

The CBI is investigating the Sheena Bora murder case.

The CBI,meanwhile, said it is ready to file fresh charges in the case.

"The CBI is ready for framing of charges. We have sufficient material in the case and are ready for trial," the investigating agency's lawyer Sudhir Badami told India Today TV.

Peter Mukerjea is the husband of Indrani Mukerjea who has been convicted for the murder of her daughter Sheena Bora.

Peter was arrested on Nov 19 as the CBI alleged his possible involvement in the murder.
