John Kerry extends his stay in India

New Delhi, Aug 31 (IBNS): U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, who arrived in India on Monday for a three-day visit, has extended his stay in the country.

According to State Department spokesman Mark Toner, Kerry has extended his stay in India to join U.S. President Barack Obama in China for the G-20 that is scheduled to take place this weekend.

Kerry was due to return from New Delhi to Washington on Thursday.

According to reports, he will now stay in India till Friday or Saturday.

Toner has informed that Kerry's schedule for his remaining time in India is yet to be determined.
