Srinagar, Sept 4 (IBNS): Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti along with cabinet ministers on Sunday met the all-party delegation headed by Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh here.

According to reports, a long meeting took place at the Sher-e-Kashmir Convention Centre on the banks of the Dal lake.

Sources said, Mehbooba pithched for unconditional dialogues with all stakeholders in Kashmir to end the long dispute peacefully.

The delegation is here on a two-day visit to review the ongoing unrest in the Kashmir Valley.

The 30-member all-party delegation from 20 parties aims to find a solution to the Kashmir’s current cycle of violence that was triggered by the death of Hizbul Mujahideen militant Burhan Wani.

The Valley witnessed 56 days of harsh curfew during which 73 people have lost their lives and thousands have been injured in the protests that followed the encounter on July 8.

CM Mehbooba Muft has invited leaders of separatist group Hurriyat Conference for talks with an all-party delegation

The letter by Mehbooba Mufti however has been sent to Hurriyat not in her capacity as the chief minister but as party president of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
