Modi meets painter Shen Shu and his team, receives his portrait as gift

Hangzhou, Sept 4 (IBNS): Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is currently visiting China to attend the G20 summit, met painter Shen Shu and his team from Hangzhou's Zhejiang Kaiming Art Gallery on Sunday.

The painter presented Modi with his portrait.

Appreciating Shen Shu and his team, Modi tweeted: "Thank you to painter Shen Shu & his team from Hangzhou’s Zhejiang Kaiming Art Gallery for the special gesture today."

He said :"Was told during our meeting that Shen Shu & his team worked for 4 months to complete the portrait. Touched & honoured by the gesture."

Modi visited China after completing his trip to Vietnam on Saturday.
